Water in the cities of Nafplio and Argos is improper for drinking due to the high content of chlorine and nitric acids. The director of Nafplio Municipal Water Supply Company, Hristos Mastorikos said that the high content of chlorine is due to penetration of sea water to Lerni wells whose water level has lowered while nitric acids come from bores activated by Argos Municipal Water Supply company to face water shortage.

Wohlgemerkt: Man sollte wohl auch zum Kochen nicht dieses Wasser benutzen - ich weiss gar nicht, ob die beruehmten Tabletten, die man mit in den Indienurlaub nehmen wuerde, auch gegen Chloride und Nitrite wirken? Das Prob beim Kochen von Mineralwasser ist naemlich, dass irgendwas weisses Ausflockt. Ich denk ja nicht, dass das gefaehrlich ist, sieht aber irgendwie eklig aus.

Nitrat entsteht hauptsächlich durch Überdüngung und Düngung in Wassereinzugsgebieten.
Cloride werden gegen bakterielle Verunreinigungen zugesetzt.
Leider meist etwas zu viel.
Shit,da ich so gern viel Wasser aus der Leitung trinke
