wir haben solche schraenke einfach mit plastik bezogen (am einfachsten, einen muellsack locker drueber stuelpen). dann kondensiert bei hitze und hoher luftfeuchtigkeit zwar etwas wasser dort drinnen (also evtl nicht metallwerkzeug einlagern), aber fuer lebensmittel, honig, eingewecktes, reis und mehl wars prima - kein ungeziefer, keine regenwasser, keine staub und dreck, keine nagetiere - und wenn verschlossen, sogar keine naschkatzen!

das mit dem schweren aufmachen versteh ich nicht ganz, unsere, auch die billigsten (KAUFLAND) hatten gute
griffe und hebel.
