Kann mir jemand sagen ob es Petroleum in Griechenland gibt, ich bin auf der Insel Zakynthos und würde im Sommer an die 40 - 50 Ltr. benötigen. Es gibt sogenannte Petroleumöfen, gibt es diese auch in Greece? Danke schon mal vorab!

Klar gibt es in Griechenland Petroleum, wurde vor Ausbruch der Zivilisation von den Eingeborenen in großen Mengen u. a. in der Landwirtschaft (Kleinmotoren) sowie in geringerem Umfang auch für Heizzwecke verbraucht (s. Kerosun-Öfen). Nach Aufhebung des staatlichen Kerosin-Monopols und der damit einhergehenden Anhebung der Besteuerung wurde Petroleum als Treib- und Heizstoff allerdings relativ uninteressant.
Einfach nach "Καθαρό / Φωτιστικό Πετρέλαιο" oder Kerosin (Κηροζίνη) fragen, Kleingebinde (Literflaschen) gibt es sogar in Supermärkten, für größere Mengen (Kanister) im einschlägigen Fachhandel nachfragen, einige Tankstellen verkaufen Petroleum auch immer noch "vom Fass".

Danke Makedonas, weist du eventuell was das Ltr. kosten kann, dann hätte ich schon mal einen Richtpreis, die Preise richten sich ja oft nach "Sympathie" & je nach "Laune" der Verkäufer zumindest ist es hier auf der Insel so :-)
