Da der 1. Mai auf Ostersonntag faellt, entgeht der arbeitenden Bevoelkerung ein Feiertag, weshalb einige Laender beschlossen haben, das ganze auf den 11. Mai zu verschieben, so auch GR. Zumindest die Deutsche Schule Athen ist an diesem Tag geschlossen.

Es sieht aber nicht so aus, als sei der 11.Mai nun algemeiner arbeitsfreier Tag:

"May Day

May Day celebrations are to be shifted to May 11 from May 1, which falls on Easter Monday, Deputy Interior Minister Apostolos Andreoulakos said yesterday. May 11 is not a public holiday, Andreoulakos added."
