Hallo!

Anscheinend gehen auch auf Korfu die Uhren anders. Dort sagte man (im Rathaus der betreffenden Gemeinde) mir erst vor etwa vier Wochen, dass ich keine Aufenthaltserlaubnis brauche, dass ich als EU-Bürger (und nicht Albaner) bleiben kann so lange ich möchte! Nur wenn ich arbeiten wolle, müsse ich mich krankenversichern und um eine Steuernummer kümmern...?!

Dabei kenne ich noch aus meiner Reiseleiterzeit (1997-1999) - ebenfalls auf Korfu - den ganzen Papierkram für die Greencard: 5 Fotos und noch mehr Unterschriften. Und das alle drei Sommer wieder! Auch dauerte das ganze ewig. Die letzte Greencard habe ich dann gar nicht mehr abgeholt, da der zuständige Beamte sowieso nie da war.

Da meine Übersiedlung aber erst noch bevorsteht, werde ich mich nochmal schlau machen, wobei ich mir jetzt schon sicher bin, dass es niemanden auf der Insel gibt, der sich seiner Antwort 100%ig sicher ist Wink

Hallo!

Anscheinend gehen auch auf Korfu die Uhren anders. Dort sagte man (im Rathaus der betreffenden Gemeinde) mir erst vor etwa vier Wochen, dass ich keine Aufenthaltserlaubnis brauche, dass ich als EU-Bürger (und nicht Albaner) bleiben kann so lange ich möchte! Nur wenn ich arbeiten wolle, müsse ich mich krankenversichern und um eine Steuernummer kümmern...?!

Dabei kenne ich noch aus meiner Reiseleiterzeit (1997-1999) - ebenfalls auf Korfu - den ganzen Papierkram für die Greencard: 5 Fotos und noch mehr Unterschriften. Und das alle drei Sommer wieder! Auch dauerte das ganze ewig. Die letzte Greencard habe ich dann gar nicht mehr abgeholt, da der zuständige Beamte sowieso nie da war.
