Du kannst gar nicht angestellt arbeiten, ohne eine Steuernummer zu haben...da gehst Du mit dem Arbeitsvertrag zum FA.
und natuerlich mit dem Sozialversicherungsnachweis, den Dein Arbeitgeber haben sollte.

Fuer Selbstaendige:
1. Zur zustaendigen Handelskammer, registrieren lassen
2. Zur zustaendigen Sozialversicherungsstelle (unterschiedlich je nach Beruf), ebenfalls registrieren lassen.
3. Zum Finanzamt

Die sinnvollere Variante ist jedoch
1. Zu einem guten Steuerberater - und schluss.

Sonst verbringst Du ein halbes Jahr auf dem Finanzamt.
Oder es passiert, was mir passiert ist:
Auf der Sozialversicherungsbehoerde:
"Wir koennen Sie nur mit Handelskammereintrag registrieren"
Bei der Handelskammer:
"Wir koennen Sie nur mit einer Steuernummer registrieren"
Beim Finanzamt:
"Steuernummer kriegen Sie nur mit Sozialversicherungsnachweis".

Und anschliessend 2 Wochen im Kreis gelaufen...
