Ich bin ja 2 Jahre lang über Astra ins Internet. Dann wurde der Platz getauscht und unsere Ausleuchtzone schlechter. Eine weitere oder größere Satschüssel wollte ich nicht, denn mir wurde auch UMTS empfohlen.

Also nachgefragt ob es das bei uns gibt, wurde bejaht und so ein Handy bei Ebay ersteigert.

Fakt ist, UMTS haben wir evtl. zu 5% der üblichen Zeiten, meist nur GPRS im mittleren Tempo. Die Preise sind zwar nicht mehr so schlimm (30 Euro Monat), aber es ist doch sehr langsam. Wer NUR surft, kann dies mit Onspeedbeschleunigen, kostet aber ca. 40 Euro/ Jahr.

Ich habe das alles, doch wahrscheinlich baue ich jetzt eine größere Schüssel, denn ich will viel und schnell downloaden!
