Eine nationale Katastrophe - Was kommt danach?

Tobi, auf Eurem Felsen habt Ihr aber doch bei der Feuerwehr-Sache auch irgendwie mitgemacht, oder?
Wäre da auch von selbst etwas unternommen worden?

Auf meiner sardischen Insel haben wir wenigstens in den allermeisten Ecken, auf erhobenen Hügeln, Feuerposten der Forstwirtschafts-Kooperative, besetzt von Juni bis September mit meist 3 Mann solange es hell ist, einem PickUp und 1000 Liter Wasser... Das sind wenigstens 1000 Mann im Sommer - Teilzeitarbeitslose...

Fast alle Wald/Macchia-Gebiete haben alle paar hundert Meter eine Brandschneiße von ca. 10 - 20 Meter und an den Neu-Aufforstungen entlang von Straßen sind ebenfalls stets geräumte Schneißen wegen der beliebten Zigaretten-Kippen. Dennoch gibt es natürlich ein paar tausend Feuer jedes Jahr und auch manchmal schlimme Brände. Das griechische Chaos dürfte aber aufgrund der Schneißen und Beobachtungsposten nicht passieren.

Die ganze, brennende Region im Südwesten kenne ich doch relativ gut (wollte da mal bauen) und wenn ich TV schaue, kommen mir die Tränen - vor Trauer und vor Zorn!
