Internet per Sat - Sailor*11 - 01.05.2015 Hallo viele Grüße an Alle, ich bin gerade mal für ein paar Wochen in D. und habe jetzt ein Angebot von Filiago für Internet per Satellit, Griechenland angeblich kein Problem. Da ich die permanenten Probleme mit Festnetz und DSL eigentlich Leid bin erscheint mir das eine Alternative zu sein. Hat jemand damit schon Erfahrungen gemacht ? Viele Grüße aus dem kalt-regnerischen Rheinland, Sailor*11 RE: Internet per Sat - Lothar - 02.05.2015 Hallo Sailor*11, ich habe keine konkreten Erfahrungen mit Internet über Satellit, würde es aber dennoch als letzte, ja sogar allerletzte Alternative ansehen. Ich weiß nicht, welche DSL-Probleme Du hast und ob sie wirklich nicht in den Griff zu kriegen sind, aber ich würde das trotzdem als höchste Priorität einstufen. Nachteile bei Internet via Satellit sind vor allem die relativ langen Antwortzeiten (2x36.000 km brauchen ihre Zeit) und der "Endgerätezwang", sodass i.d.R. an Internettelefonie nicht zu denken ist Dann gibt es doch auch noch die Möglichkeit mit UMTS/3G über das Mobilfunknetz. Damit habe ich gute Erfahrungen gemacht. In dem Fall kam WIND zum Einsatz. Je nach Netzverfügbarkeit kommt aber auch COSMOTE / VODAFONE in Frage. Das würde ich jedenfalls zuerst versuchen. Das Neue und Supermoderne Glasfaserkabel ist diesen Winter dem Meer zum Opfer gefallen, da tat sich dann Wochenlang gar nichts. UMTS-G3 ist einfach zu teuer, und LTE nicht verfügbar. Gruß Sailor*11 RE: Internet per Sat - NaxosNick - 05.07.2015 Siehe http://www.gotohellas.gr/talk/showthread.php?tid=5033&highlight=Sat+sei+dank Mittlerweile (bei anderen Anbieter) ist das Volumen größer, die Geschwindigkeit noch schneller und der Preis halbiert, Telefonie ist weitgehend kostenlos. Und auch die Ping-Zeiten sind teilweise kaum noch zu merken.
