KISS Syndrom - tommax - 18.08.2008 Hallo, kennt hier irgendjemand einen Arzt in oder um Saloniki, der was vom KISS Syndrom (Schiefhals; engl.: Kinematic imbalances due to suboccipital strain)) bei Kindern versteht? Viel Glueck Petra KISS Syndrom - amicus_verus - 19.08.2008 Hallo Sabine, such dir einen guten Chiropraktiker, der deinem Kind nicht einfach nur den Hals einrenkt sondern auch entsprechende übungen zum Muskelaufbau zeigt. Unser Sohn hatte auch eine Schräglage und hat immer die linke seite bevorzugt. dadurch bedingt war eine Behandlung nötig. Aber es wurde nichts eingerenkt, da dabei auch viel kaputt gemacht werden kann, nach 6 Wochen täglichen übungen, war alles in Ordnung und es ist auch nichts zurückgeblieben.Aausserdem hat nicht jedes kind mit einer schiefen haltung gleich das KISS syndrom. Wie kommst du darauf, das dein Kind das KISS Syndrom hat??? Gruß Peter KISS Syndrom - erotokritos - 19.08.2008 Apropos Schräglage: Bei mir haben sie übersehen, dass ich als Kind schon eine Skoliose hatte. Also eine seitliche Verkrümmung der Wirbelsäule. Daraus resultierte, dass ich meinen Kopf immer ein wenig zur Seite geneigt trug. Sie fanden das damals niedlich und kamen nicht auf die Idee, dass das vielleicht gar nicht so gut sein könnte und vielleicht Ursachen haben könnte, die überprüft gehörten. Jetzt in "fortgeschrittenem Alter" habe ich die Beschwerden davon. Man sollte also wirklich gut aufpassen und die Ursachen genau ausforschen. Franz
