Schlangenarten - Martina - 23.06.2007

Kennt sich jemand hier vielleicht mit Schlangen aus und kann diese Schlange anhand ihres Musters identifizieren?

Ich habe die Überreste dieser Schlange heute auf unserem Grundstück gefunden und danach zu urteilen ist sie etwa 1 oder 1,20m lang gewesen...

Das ist, denke ich, malpolon monspessulanus insignitus. Zumindest habe ich sonst nix mit dem Muster gefunden.
Die ist soger etwas giftig.
Heisst Montpellier Snake oder Eidechsennatter, sieht in echt so aus wie auf dem Bild

Hi Martina, ich tippe auf die harmlose Vierstreifennatter, guckst Du da:

Sie ist auf dem Balkan (Ex-Jugoslawien, Griechenland) verbreitet, kommt aber z. B. auch in Süditalien vor.

ich denk auch Vierstreifennatter, bei uns lebt auch ein großes Exemplar auf dem Grundstück. Ich hoffe nur immer, dass Katzen nicht ihr Beuteschema gehören...

Nö, das sind Mäuse, Ratten, Echsen, Vögel... Katzen finde ich in der Literatur nirgends erwähnt; die dürften höchstens ein Fall für eine ausgewachsene Boa sein,

Komisch, bei uns gibts die gar nicht, nur die giftige Variante. Aber wird wohl schon so gewesen sein

Eben. Bei unseren habe ich immer Angst, dass es umgekehrt sein koennte. Die bringen dauernd Schlangen und auch mal ein Chamaeleon. Zum Kotzen, aber was will man machen....
