Großer OTE-Schaden in Athen? - Martina - 19.06.2007

Hier auf Paros funktioniert nur im Bereich Parikias das Internet, Naoussa und andere Gegenden sind seit gestern Morgen vom Netz abgeschnitten... ich habe gehört, es gibt einen großen Schaden in Athen, ein Server (oder so?) ist abgerauscht und die ganzen Daten von Kunden sind außerdem verloren gegangen. Rhodos und eine andere Insel sollen komplett vom Internet abgeschnitten sein.

Ist das wirklich möglich?

Ruft man beim Service-Telefon an, sagen sie, ziehen sie erstmal das Stromkabel raus... usw., völlig sinnlos natürlich, wenn ganz Naoussa kein Internet hat.

Jetzt heißt es mal wieder nur: Geduld!

Aha, dann ist zumindest Rhodos ein Gerücht Wink. Hier läuft es jedenfalls nicht normal.

Hallo,

ich hatte seit Sonntag kein Internet bis gestern abend. Heute morgen war es dann wieder weg und seit etwa zwei Stunden bin ich wieder im Netz.

Meine Information: Totalausfall der Hardware eines Servers der Teile der Ostägäis/Kykladen versorgt und auf Chalkidiki steht. Nun ja . . .

also die Zeiten, in denen wir kein Internet in Naoussa hatten, stimmen mit deinen überein. Bis hin zu den paar Zusatzstunden gestern Morgen. Was mich geärgert hat war, dass man immer dieselben dämlichen Anweisungen bekommen hat, wenn man dort angerufen hat... Beim letzten Anruf habe ich schon gesagt "und kommen Sie mir jetzt bloß nicht damit, dass ich das Teil ausstöpseln soll"... das bringt ganz viel, wenn ein ganzer Ort offline ist, gell???

IRGENDWO schien jedenfalls ganz gewaltig was nicht zu stimmen, wo auch immer dieser geheimnisvolle Server stand Wink

Hallo Martina,

ich habe natürlich zuerst gedacht, daß ich einen Fehler gemacht habe und zwei Tage lang alle Einstellungen überprüft. Natürlich ohne Erfolg. Als ich dann angerufen habe, hatte ich eine Frau am Telefon, die mir mitteilte, daß es ein "general Problem on Paros" gäbe. Das hat mich dann sehr beruhigt, da ich davon ausgehen konnte, daß es doch einige Leute auf Paros gibt, die geschäftlich am Internet hängen und etwas Druck auf die OTE machen.

Und jetzt raus in die pralle Sonne, denn es gibt noch etwas Arbeit im Garten.
