Internet in Griechenland - tommax1972 - 18.03.2003 Bin seit 4 Wochen in Griechenland und versuche verzweifelt eine Anbindung ans Internet zu bekommen. Ich nutze Windows 2000 (deutsch), habe mein Acermodem aus Deutschland (56k) und habe mir ein neues MOdemkabel, sowie den Stecker fuer die Telefonbuchse gekauft. Ich habe ueber DFUE Benutzernamen, Passwort und Einwahlnummer eingegeben und die Standortbestimmung auf 00302 gesetzt. Wenn ich nun auf verbinden klicke, bekomme ich die Meldung: kein Freizeichen erhalten. Dann habe ich mir das Modem meiner Freundin ausgeliehen und angeschlossen und habe es auf die selbe Art versucht. Immer wieder kam die Mitteilung: kein Freizeichen und dann war ich doch ploetzlich onlinie. Also dachte ich, es liegt am Modem und habe mir ein USB-Modem gekauft. Gleiche Prozedur und wieder kein Freizeichen. Keine Chance ins Internet zu gelangen. Dummerweise kennt sich hier niemand mit deutschem Windows aus. Kann mir jemand helfen??? Internet in Griechenland - Tobi - 18.03.2003 Tip: In den tiefen der Modemkonfiguration verbirgt sich ein knoepfchen, mit dem man das Warten auf ein Freizeichen ausschalten kann. Das musst Du tun. Denn in GR gibt es andere Freizeichen als in D, daher erkennt der Modemtreiber die nicht und denkt, es ist kein Modem angeschlossen oder es waere besetzt. Wer schonmal versucht hat, ein deutsches Fax in GR zu automatischem Betrieb zu bewegen, weiss, wovon ich rede
